Briana made her Broadway debut in the 2009 Tony Award-winning revival of Hair. Additional Broadway credits include Doctor Zhivago, from which she can be heard singing “Somewhere My Love” (Lara’s Theme) on the original cast album, and Les Misérables. She is an IRNE-nominated actress who has performed across the country as Eponine in the 25th anniversary tour of Les Misérables and regionally at theaters including: North Shore Music Theatre, Pioneer Theater Company, The MUNY, Olney Theatre Center, and The Philadelphia Theatre Company. Her television credits include: “Person of Interest” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime.” Briana graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emerson College with a BFA in Musical Theatre, where she took additional courses in Theatre Education. She continued her acting training in New York with composer Craig Carnelia, and acclaimed film coach Bob Krakower. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Theatre Pedagogy at The University of Idaho. She has a wide range of experience as a teacher, having coached young children, teenagers, and adults, taught master classes across the country, and her own musical theater studio class in New York City. Briana has equal passions for performing and teaching and has always believed in creating educational spaces where students can be free to be their most authentic selves.
