Courtney is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, a proud graduate of Penn State University’s Musical Theatre Program, and an MTCA alum! Courtney grew up studying all styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, modern, contemporary, and currently lives in New York City. Most recently, Courtney toured internationally as a swing with Christopher Wheeldon’s An American In Paris, performing in Paris and across Asia. She has also performed regionally at The Muny, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Fulton Theatre, Gateway Playhouse, and Woodstock Playhouse. Some of her favorite roles include Babette in Beauty and the Beast, Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Jane Ashton in Brigadoon. Courtney has experience working as a dance captain and collaborating with a wide range of inspiring choreographers. Courtney also has 10+ years of pointe experience and has performed in numerous ballets in Arizona. One of her favorite ballet credits includes Nightmare Karen in The Red Shoes. Courtney is eager to share her knowledge as an active performing artist in this industry and looking forward to working with her future students. She is truly honored to be a part of MTCA!
