David is a New York City based performer, director and choreographer with over a decade of professional experience. His career began in 2009, when he played Mark on the National Tour of A Chorus Line under the direction of Tony Award Recipient, Baayork Lee. He went on to reprise the role at New York City Center, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Gateway Playhouse, and many more. Baayork then promoted David to her associate for the China Premier of A Chorus Line in 2019, training him to keep Michael Bennett’s legacy alive in re-staging the original. In 2022 David choreograph and directed his own company of A Chorus Line at Weathervane Theatre. David & Baayork continue to work together City Springs Theatre Company on performances including South Pacific and Cats.

David also serves as Mark Martino’s associate working on productions including: Newsies, Elf, & A Christmas Story (Arts Center of Costal Carolina); Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Maltz Jupiter Theatre); Grease, Jersey Boys (The Fulton Theatre); & Chicago (Theatre Aspen).

David choreographed The Light in the Piazza directed by Tony Award Winner Victoria Clark at the Sheen Center. He has served as the resident choreographer at Quisisana Resort and Music Theatre Kansas City. Other Credits Include: Beauty and the Beast (National Tour), A Chorus Line (Japan Tour), Walt Disney World, and Universal Orlando.

He is a graduate of Pace University’s Musical Theatre Program with a Minor in Dance. He is thrilled to work with the MTCA students as they grow in skill, confidence, and join the next generation of musical theatre performers.
