Originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas, Lee graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in musical theatre. She just completed a run starring as Mary Poppins at the Argyle Theatre and was lucky enough to share the stage with three brilliant MTCA alums! And she will appear as Amalia in She Loves Me this spring at the Gulfshore Playhouse! She can be seen in Richard Linklater’s Where’d You Go Bernadette opposite Cate Blanchett and Last Flag Flying opposite Bryan Cranston. TV: Gone (NBC). She has been writing and developing her solo play Jellybean, since college. She has performed the piece at Carnegie Mellon, the PIT, Theatre Row, The Fringe Festival and most recently at the Irondale Ensemble Project. Jellybean was most recently directed by Daniel Jenkins (Big River, Oslo). Some other favorite theatre: A Man of No Importance (Classic Stage Company), Assassins (Classic Stage Company), Into the Woods (Roundabout), Way of the World (Roundabout), Hi, My Name is Ben (Helen), Connecticut Christmas Carol (Martha), Show Boat (Magnolia), Company (Kathy), Merrily We Roll Along (Meg), Man of La Mancha (Antonia), Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), Carousel (Julie), Dead Man’s Cell Phone (Jean) and Marvelous Wonderettes (Cindy Lou). Lee feels truly so lucky to be on this team. MTCA is simply the BEST!
