Tyler Jones is an actor and voice teacher, specializing in singing voice training for professional singers of Musical Theatre and contemporary music styles. His students include Tony nominees, TV stars, professional singer-songwriters, and dedicated future-professionals who hope to make it on Broadway. Tyler received his BFA in Musical Theatre from University of Michigan, and has further training in methodologies such as Estill Voicework, Fitzmaurice, and Speech Level Singing. He has earned the title of “Distinguished VoiceProfessional” from NYSTA’s Professional Development Program. Tyler has a special interest in vocal health, and working with singers who have experienced voice injury. He recently participated in a Laryngology Observership at NYC’s premiere voice clinic for Broadway performers, Sean Parker Institute For The Voice. Tyler is a proud associate teacher at Mike Ruckles Voice Studio, and is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, and NYSTA. As an actor, Tyler has appeared in THE BOOK OF MORMON, and most recently, alongside Anne Hathaway on Apple TV’s “We Crashed.” Other theatre: Leading roles at TUTS; Broadway at Sacramento Music Circus; Long Wharf; Maltz-Jupiter; Connecticut Repertory, among others.
